Last Updated on July 23, 2021

One thing that I’ve always found really intriguing is the ocean and what kind of creatures might be living beneath it’s depths. So when word on a sea monster flick comes strolling our way I’m going to take notice. Then I hear who is involved with this one and my excitement shoots up even more. I’m getting ahead of myself though… lets rewind.

The Wrap has word today on a monster flick heading our way from Legendary Pictures. The flick has been tapped with the title HERE THERE BE MONSTERS and as if you couldn’t have guessed already, the flick is going to be about some sea monsters. According to Movieweb it’s already got the great Robert Zemeckis lined up to direct. How about them apples?

Penned by the talented Brian Helgeland, HERE THERE BE MONSTERS’ simple rundown reads a little something like this:

Film centers on Revolutionary War naval hero John Paul Jones — except with sea monsters.

Hell I’m down with taking a real-life hero like John Paul Jones (above) and adding a genre twist to his tale. What says you guys? HERE THERE BE MONSTERS sounding good to you or are you planning on waiting until we see more from the project? Spit some bullets below and let us know as we wait for more on HERE THERE BE MONSTERS.
