Liam Neeson tries to take his life back in new Unknown poster

12.22.2010by: Jake Dee

I really like how the new one-sheet for Jaume Collet-Serra's new identity thriller UNKNOWN immediately grabs the viewer with the words Liam Neeson Take. Not even ashamed to capitalize on Pierre Morel's TAKEN, a box-office sleeper that opened a whole new audience for the Irish actor. Fortune favors the bold, I guess we'll see how this move pays off...

Hitting theaters February 18th (the same day as I AM NUMBER FOUR), UNKNOWN picks up when:

Dr. Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) awakens after a car accident in Berlin to discover that his wife (January Jones) suddenly doesn’t recognize him and another man (Aidan Quinn) has assumed his identity. Ignored by disbelieving authorities and hunted by mysterious assassins, he finds himself alone, tired and on the run. Aided by an unlikely ally (Diane Kruger), Martin plunges headlong into a deadly mystery that will force him to question his sanity, his identity, and just how far he’s willing to go to uncover the truth.

Wow, January Jones plays Neeson's wife at 26 years his junior. Only in Hollywood, right?!?

Frank Langella, Bruno Ganz, Sebastian Koch, Sanny van Heteren, Michael Baral and Rainer Bock help fill out the cast.

Should be Diane Cougar!
