Lily Rabe in talks to join American Horror Story as a serial killer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

The ethereally gorgeous Lily Rabe is a mainstay on the horror anthology series American Horror Story, having portrayed the ghostly Nora Montgomery, the demonically possessed Sister Mary Eunice, and the loose cannon swamp witch Misty Day over the course of the show's previous four seasons. The actress, who is currently appearing on the series The Whispers, was only given a one episode cameo in Freak Show, but is now in talks to appear in the new season – subtitled Hotel – as a notorious serial killer.

One can only hope they close this deal, because Rabe plays evil with tremendous panache. Maybe she can finally finish the work that Sister Mary Eunice started and actually find something constructive to do with her murderous talents.

American Horror Story: Hotel also stars Lady Gaga, Finn Wittrock, Matt Bomer, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Max Greenfield, and Chloe Sevigny. It airs in October on FX.
