V/H/S/2-4/10; ELYSIUM-7/10; STOKER-8/10.

I was sure you were gonna include AFTERSHOCK, since it was in your list of the biggest "Holy shit!" moments.

Nooooope

I was sadly sadly disappointed with Stoker. I hate that I'm saying this as I was really hoping to love it as I pined for it's release. For me personally in 2013 (which means absolutely nothing) I found that the aforementioned Byzantium and the Maniac remake would be much better suited at the top of my Foreign 2013 list. I would probably give Byzantium the nudge to the number 1 spot as it told an engaging vampire story despite the fact that vampires have been done and over done countless

Especially in more recent years. It was to see a nice, woman lead, dark, visceral, blood soaked vampire saga with a similar dreary vibe received while watching Let Me In.
