Lohman visits Hell?

Less than a week ago I told you all how Ellen Page pulled out of Sam Raimi’s DRAG ME TO HELL.

Well it looks like this flick is going to be something big, because that spot is already filled! And by another familiar hottie!

Variety’s reporting that Alison Lohman (pictured) has stepped into the HELL-bound shoes of Ellen Page. No offense to Page, but I dig Lohman much more. I’ve dug her ever since I seen her in MATCHSTICK MEN.

Lohman doesn’t really have any genre credits to her name, the closest being BIG FISH and BEOWULF… but I think she’ll nail it. Definately even more of a reason to look forward to DRAG ME TO HELL.

HELL is a morality tale about the unwitting recipient of a supernatural curse. Genre god Sam Raimi will be directing and along with his brother Ivan, writing.

It starts shooting in Los Angeles March 31.
