I have learned a lot of things from watching horror movies and thrillers, and among those things is the fact that a job in security can be a lot more dangerous than you might even imagine. From NIGHTWATCH to MIRRORS to THE ABANDONED and others in between, I have seen several watchmen and security guards experience some crazy things.

Director Patricio Valladares is set to deliver another warning about the dangers of security with his supernatural horror drama NIGHTWORLD, which VMI Worldwide will be presenting to potential buyers at the European Film Market next month.

Scripted by Barry Keating, Loris Curci, and Milan Konjevic, NIGHTWORLD tells the following story:

When Former LAPD Office, Brett Irlam takes a job as head of security at an old apartment building in Bulgaria’s capital, Sofia, he soon begins to experience a series of bizarre and terrifying events. Once he begins to delve deep into the building’s sinister history, and investigate it’s shadowy owners and past employees, Brett soon uncovers a malevolent force nestled deep in the bowels of the building in basement that will do anything to be set free into our world.

Jason London, Gianni Capaldi, Lorina Kamburova, Diana Lyubenova, and horror icon Robert Englund star.

A trailer for NIGHTWORLD can be seen below, and it looks like it could be a decent watch. Here's hoping that it will be landing some distribution deals next month and that we won't have to wait much longer to check out the full film.
