With every passing day we get closer to being able to see the insanity of director Marc Fehse's SKY SHARKS in its entirety. There has been no release date announced, last we heard the filmmakers were aiming to get SKY SHARKS out into the world in the fall of 2017, but just know… it's getting closer.

Proof of this is the trailer that was recently released online and can be viewed below. A trailer that gives a good look at the film's visual style, level of absurdity, and some of the familiar faces in the cast.

That cast includes Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (pictured above),  Robert LaSardo, Nick Principe, Lar Park Lincoln, Lynn Lowry, Tom Savini, German thrash legends Kreator, Michaela Schaffrath, Micaela Schäfer, Ralf Richter, Tobias Schenke, Dieter Laser, Amanda Bearse, Naomi Grossman, Mick Garris, and Tony Todd.

The plot of SKY SHARKS goes like this:

Deep in the ice of the Antarctic, a team of geologists uncover an old Nazi laboratory, still intact, where dark experiments had occurred. Unwittingly the geologists unleash upon the world a top-secret experiment the Germans had been working on – modified sharks that are able to fly, whose riders are genetically mutated, undead super-humans. The only thing that can stop them, and possibly save the world, is a military task force called “Dead Flesh Four” – assembled from reanimated U.S. soldiers who fell in Vietnam.

Judging by the trailer, the film might be even crazier than you're imagining, so hit play on the video and prepare to be dazzled.
