The bonkers Matt Damon monster war flick THE GREAT WALL has just received a brand new international trailer that's about as long as the wall itself. This nine-minute epic preview is all in Chinese, but with a movie like this, do you really need to understand the dialogue? I'd say it's not entirely vital, and if you want to get a good look at the sweeping scope of this battle movie, check it out below!
Carlo Bernard, Doug Miro, and Tony Gilroy wrote the screenplay, about:
a soldier who is part of a group of mercenaries traveling to China in order to bring back gunpowder to Europe. When the group is attacked by mystical beasts, the man finds himself in a war between a secret warrior clan and the beasts.
Joining Matt Damon in the cast are Willem Dafoe, Pedro Pascal, Andy Lau, Luhan, and Jing Tian.
THE GREAT WALL is set to hit theatres on February 17, 2017.
