We Are the Flesh

The gory Mexican horror flick WE ARE THE FLESH (aka TENEMOS LA CARNE, the much deadlier translation meaning "We have the flesh") has made a big blood splash in the horror community, but it's finally crawling on bloody stubs into U.S. theaters. After its premiere in Los Angeles on January 13, 2017 at Laemmle's Ahrya Fine Arts Theatre, it will spread to theaters in ten cities across the nation. More information is coming soon as to which theaters and cities, but in the meantime get pumped about finally getting the opportunity to get blasted in the face with bloody good horror in the new year.

WE ARE THE FLESH is set in a post-apocalypse Mexico, where a brother and sister, Lucio and Fauna, wander a ruined city for years in search of food and shelter. They find their way into one of its last surviving buildings, where a man makes them a dangerous offer to survive the outside world. As they help him transform the building into a womb-like cave, a disquieting sexual relationship emerges, along with a dynamic in which darker instincts do their destructive work.

Directed by Emiliano Rocha Minter, WE ARE THE FLESH stars Noé Hernández. Check out the trailer below!
