Mexican horror-drama Halley gets some pics, fresh info and festival news

Sometimes it’s nice just to stumble upon a movie and share what you’ve found. That’s the case right now with HALLEY, a flick that has been in development for a while but is only coming to our attention right now because of its inclusion in the upcoming San Sebastian Film Festival.

Described as a horror drama, HALLEY comes from Mexican director Sebastian Hofman (this is his first feature). Here’s the rundown:

Alberto is dead and can no longer hide it. Make up and perfume can no longer conceal his quickly decomposing body. Dismayed, he decides to withdraw from the world. But before surrendering to his living death, Alberto forms an unusual friendship with Luly, the manager of the 24 hour gym where he works as a night guard.

The film stars Alberto Trujillo and Luly Trueba. HALLEY is scheduled to premiere at the Toulouse/San Sebastian Films in Progress, a competition for Latin American films that are currently in post-production. (Actually kind of an interesting idea to compete incomplete films.) San Sebastian commences this coming September.

While we wait to learn more about HALLEY, you can scope out some cool pics from the title I got my paws on.
