Millie Bobby Brown & Brian Tyree Henry to star in Godzilla vs. Kong

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

We already know that STRANGER THINGS breakout star Millie Bobby Brown is the star of director Michael Dougherty's GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS. But today we have word that the young actresses' presence within the GODZILLA Universe will continue on with Adam Wingard's upcoming GODZILLA VS. KONG. Not only that but today we also have word via Variety that Brian Tyree Henry (see above) will be joining DEADPOOL 2 star Julian Dennison in the film as well.

Henry is newly famous around these parts for snagging the updated role of Detective Mike Norris (played in the original Tom Holland classic by Chris Sarandon) in MGM's upcoming remake of CHILD'S PLAY. Not much is known about the plot of GODZILLA VS, KONG – other than the fact that the two will be beating the ass off each other – so here's the synopsis for Michael Dougherty's GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS instead:

Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When this ancient super-species-thought to be mere myths-rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance.
