Monstrous poster for Chiller’s Drew Barrymore-produced Animal opens wide

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen’s Flower Films banner has debuted the poster for their new film ANIMAL, which airs later this year on NBCUniversal-owned Chiller after a limited theatrical and VOD run, and we've got it for you to check out in all of its monstrous glory!

We first heard word on the Drew Barrymore-produced Chiller original film ANIMAL back in June of last year when the horror network announced two of their upcoming features that they had added to their 2014 line-up (the other film being the Sean Patrick Thomas and Dean Stockwell-starring DEEP IN THE DARKNESS). We followed that original post up with the news that Keke Palmer had signed on to topline the cast, joining hip-hop star-turned-actress Eve (BARBERSHOP), Amaury Nolasco ("Prison Break"), Parker Young (ENLISTED), Joey Lauren Adams (CHASING AMY), Elizabeth Gillies ("Victorious"), Paul Iacono ("The Hard Times of R.J. Berger"), Thorsten Kaye ("Smash") and Jeremy Sumpter ("Friday Night Lights'). Then in October we got our first look at ANIMAL with a still that was worth screaming about.

Today we have the first poster for ANIMAL to share with ya as the film prepares to hit theaters and VOD on June 17. Open wide!

Animal follows a group of close-knit friends who find themselves stranded in unfamiliar territory, pursued by a blood-thirsty predator. Holed up in isolated cabin, tensions mount as secrets are revealed. As the body count rises, the group puts their differences aside and fights for survival.

Barrymore is an executive producer alongside Nancy Juvonen, and producers Chris Miller, Ember Truesdell, Kelly Smith and Thommy Hutson. Hutson and Catherine Trillo penned the script and is directed by Brett Simmons. Gary J. Tunnicliffe created the creature effects.
