If you're a fan of FX's "American Horror Story" then I'm sure you're stoked for the show's upcoming second season, right? Right. From what I hear Season 1 completely tore the roof off... so one can assume Season 2 is going to blow up the whole house, right? Here's hoping.

With that being said I've come your way today to drop some more details regarding "American Horror Story" Season 2 courtesy of MTV. You see series writer Tim Minear recently chatted with the site regarding the upcoming Season 2, and he kindly decided to drop some details regarding Jessica Lange and Adam Levine's characters. Check it:

"She's not playing this kind of ersatz Tennessee Williams character this time. She's playing something that's a little more East Coast, a little more patrician."

"She's playing a nun. She's playing an administrator of a facility. It's different. In this instance, she's a bride of Christ."

Regarding Levine's character, Minear added: "Let's say that Adam's character is kind of a nod to contemporary sensibilities, as opposed to something from the mid-century."

And in reference to the show as a whole the writer spilled the following:

"We thought it would be cool. I mean, the truth is, when I first met with [creators] Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk about the show, I came in, I read the pilot script, and I'm like, 'OK guys, this is all very well and good I don't know how you make this into a TV show. I don't know how you sustain this.'"

"And Ryan immediately had the answer, and that was, 'Oh, the way we sustain it is by the end of the season, we have killed off every character.' And I'm like, 'I'm in!' And then you revamp it. Basically, in season two, you have a whole new story, a whole new location, a whole new time frame. You just do something different. The reason we're doing it in the 1960s is because that fits the story that we want to tell."

"I wouldn't rule anything out."

Works for me! For a highly-anticipated project like "American Horror Story" Season 2 you don't want to give to much away because the mystery to the show is one of it's biggest selling points. But small teasing details like these should just make the anticipation of the Season 2 premiere grow that much more!

I've also decided to toss up a badass fan-made motion poster for "American Horror Story" Season 2 below. Sure it may be fake... but it's pretty damn awesome!

"American Horror Story" Season 2 will be hitting FX later this year with a cast that includes Lange, Levine, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Lizzie Brochere, Britne Oldford (below), Chloe Sevigny and James Cromwell.

Extra Tidbit: Ryan Murphy, the creator of "American Horror Story," also created "Glee." Now that's some range!

I actually was surprised with season one. I never even heard of the series until I started hearing really good things about the series on websites like joblo, bloody disgusting, etc. So I decided to check it out and I really liked it. Despite some tiny flaws with season one, I still enjoyed it a whole lot. I don't normally get excited for TV shows until now. I can't freaking wait for season 2 lol. Although I hope they know what they are doing by making each season different. I actually liked

Maybe there's promise...

As a fan of horror (good, scary, old-school horror), I always thought I ought to be a fan. But Season One didn't pull me in not the way I thought it would. So I gave up on it. But after hearing how the last season left off, I gave the creators a lot of credit.

I'll give it a chance.
