F*ck yes!!!

Just when I thought it couldn't get any hotter in L.A. today, the first trailer for Darren Aronofsky's surreal new chiller BLACK SWAN is crackin' the f*ckin' thermometer. Not only do we get to see a quick flash of the infamous exchange between inveterate hotties Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis...the rest of the footage confirms what we all had a sneaking suspicion about...that Aronofsky has gone ahead and crafted a sublimely foreboding awards season contender!

For those late to the bash, BLACK SWAN follows the story of Nina (Portman), a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her retired ballerina mother Erica (Barbara Hershey) who zealously supports her daughter’s professional ambition. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Vincent Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Winona Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice.

But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily (Kunis), who impresses Leroy as well. Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side with a recklessness that threatens to destroy her.

Janet Montgomery, Christopher Gartin, Sebastian Stan, Kristina Anapau and Toby Hemingway also star in the picture.

BLACK SWAN premieres at Venice September 1st, then goes wide December 1st.

He's probably one of the best filmmakers out there

The Fountain is one of the best films I've seen, but I love all his work. This looks real eerie, can't wait to see how it comes together!

Incredible. And that poster is definitely something I'd like to add to my collection.

I'm with you Gonads, this shit looks too ill...and I think it'll be a dark, menacing drama more than a cheap thrill horror flick. This and True Grit are calling me, BIG TIME.

I cannot wait!

This film looks fantastic. I don't know if it is a true horror film, but it looks like it'll be a good scary film!
