NBC’s Dracula shows some bite in ratings; a look at the season ahead

I didn't get a chance to check out NBC's "Dracula" yet (I have it DVR'd and plan on rectifying that today!), but apparently the show has shown some bite in the ratings despite airing on Friday nights. The premiere episode pulled in a healthy audience according to Variety, winning its hour of television and garnering some decent reviews along the way. So if you've sunk your teeth into "Dracula" we'd like to hear your thoughts on it below.

Grayson takes Lady Jayne as a lover even as he investigates her lethal connections to The Order of the Dragon. Grayson helps Mina face a critical challenge at medical school. Van Helsing continues his quest to develop a solar vaccine to enable Grayson to conquer sunlight. Jonathan Harker strikes a devil's bargain with Grayson which has unexpected consequences.

"Dracula" stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Jessica De Gouw, Thomas Kretschmann, Katie McGrath and Nonso Anozie. Other cast members include Victoria Smurfit as Lady Jayne Wetherby, Ben Miles as Mr. Browning, and Robert Bathurst as Lord Thomas Davenport.

The 10-episode series is paired with "Grimm" on Friday nights and airs at 10/9c.
