Back in March we not only caught our first look at the trailer for Leigh Janiak’s chilling directorial debut, HONEYMOON, but we also saw it get snatched up by Magnolia Pictures’ genre arm Magnet Releasing. Now, on tap for you guys is a clip from HONEYMOON featuring “Game of Thrones” actress Rose Leslie and Harry Treadaway. Magnet Releasing will release HONEYMOON on iTunes/On Demand and in theaters September 12, 2014.
Here’s an updated synopsis:
Young newlyweds Paul (Harry Treadaway) and Bea (Rose Leslie) travel to remote lake country for their honeymoon, where the promise of private romance awaits them. Shortly after arriving, Paul finds Bea wandering and disoriented in the middle of the night. As she becomes more distant and her behavior increasingly peculiar, Paul begins to suspect something more sinister than sleepwalking took place in the woods.
Janiak co-wrote the film with Phil Graziadei; Patrick Baker and Esmé Howard produced.
