Warner Bros. has released a couple of new stills from FINAL DESTINATION: DEATH TRIP, the movie about the horrors of escalators and car washes. I say, it’s about time we brought to light even more unseen nightmares that surround us in our daily lives. The fourth FINAL DESTINATION flick is in 3D, and the footage I saw was actually really cool. Story-wise it’s certainly not reinventing the wheel, but then again, why would it? Just murder people, that’s all we ask from these movies…
The film, directed by David R. Ellis (who also directed the 2nd one) focuses on a teenager that dodges a trip to the grave at a racetrack, only to find that death has a way of equaling the playing field after the fact. It stars Shantel VanSanten, Bobby Campo, Haley Webb, Nick Zano, Krista Allen, and Mykelti Williamson, and theaters this August.
