New footage from Dawn of the Planet of the Apes arrives in featurette

If the latest DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES trailer didn’t get you fired up enough for the forthcoming sequel, then perhaps this new featurette focusing on the picture’s 3D aspect will. Along with some nice behind-the-scenes footage, the video contains a handful of fresh imagery at the Matt Reeves-helmed film, which has looked nothing short of outstanding thus far.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

The DAWN begins July 11th.
