Last week we learned that Jordan Rubin's creature feature ZOMBEAVERS would be premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival as part of the Midnight program and today we have a handful of new behind-the-scenes images and stills from the highly anticipated horror-comedy to share with you.

You know the story: sexy teens head to a secluded lakeside cabin for a weekend of debauched fun, only to be menaced by a mysterious force picking them off one by one. But here, the culprit proves to be a horde of rabid zombie beavers! The B-movie creature feature is making a comeback, and with 2 million views of its trailer in its first two weeks alone, ZOMBEAVERS is a veritable phenomenon.

Not that you really need one, but here's the film's synopsis:

ZOMBEAVERS is an action-packed horror/comedy in which a group of college kids staying at a riverside cabin are menaced by a swarm of deadly zombie beavers. A weekend of sex and debauchery soon turns gruesome as the beavers close in on the kids. Riding the line between scary, sexy and funny, the kids are soon fighting for their lives in a desperate attempt to fend off the hoard of beavers that attack them in and around their cabin.

It's about a bunch of large, semi-aquatic rodents that develop a hunger for human flesh. What more could you need? Between this film and the upcoming SQUIRRELS from WANTED producer Timur Bekmambetov this looks to be the time of the killer rodent film.

SILENT NIGHT's Cortney Palm stars alongside Rachel Melvin, Hutch Dano and Jake Weary.
