From DREAM HOUSE…to THE SILENT HOUSE…now to DREAM HOME. Man it’s Friday, who the hell needs this kind of confusion?!?
DREAM HOME, the new Hong Kong horror joint from director Pang Ho-Cheung, stars Josie Ho, Michelle Ye (below), Lawrence Chou and Eason Chan. We’re still awaiting an official U.S. release, as the film has been touring the international festival circuit the last nine months or so. Hopefully the arrival of the new international (French) poster means the film will get released soon.
Billed as the first Hong Kong slasher flick, Cheng Li-sheung is a young, upwardly mobile professional finally ready to invest in her first home. But when the deal falls through, she is forced to keep her dream alive – even if it means keeping her would-be neighbors dead.
IFC Midnight acquired DREAM HOME last October, with plans to show the film early this year. As always, we’ll let you know when we have a legit date.
