New Lambs DVD

Now here's a story my girlfriends going to hate.

Fangoria has now listed the specs for the collectors edition of SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, and it's looking pretty sweet.

I've never been a huge fan of having to buy, and than re-buy DVD's because they're "special edition", but this one definitely seems like it would be worth it.
The package will contain 2 DVD's and is packed with tons of bonus features, and unlike most DVD's that are stuffed with filler to create a "special edition" this one's actually got some substance.

It includes a ton of deleted scenes, which all sound pretty cool, several 'making of' featurettes, including the original one from 1991, as well as some cool ass Hannibal Lecter recipe cards!

This DVD seems like a sweet ass Christmas present for any big SILENCE fan, and at only $26.98, it's pretty well priced! Unfortunately the boneheads at MGM have waited a little long to release it and it won't be available until January 30th. To check out some more specs of the DVD click here. And don't forget to put the lotion on it's skin, or else it gets the hose again!

Criterion commentary

While it sounds all well and good, where's the Criterion commentary?

True, Criterion normally doesn't lend out its commentaries, but if Anchor Bay can get it for Halloween, and even MGM could get it for Robocop, why not Lecter?
