New limited edition Imax poster for Frankenweenie is pretty sketchy

I’ll just throw it out there. Is Tim Burton relevant anymore?

Maybe for kids, right? If he isn’t doing a bloated Disney adaptation, he’s taking to more original fare like FRANKENWEENIE, in theaters October 5th. A new, limited edition Imax poster for the film has debuted over at Fandango, and what do you know, like Burton’s career as of late, the poster is quite sketchy!

With vocal work from Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron and Conchata Ferrell:

The stop-motion animated film is a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.

You seeing this when it drops in a couple weeks? Will you be taking your kids?
