New pictures surface from The Dark Knight Rises featuring Bane, Bats, and Gordon

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, three new pictures have been revealed for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Two of them feature Bane, one Batman and the other Gordon. The film will grace the cover of the next issue of the magazine, with all the latest news on the film (see cover to the right).

A few little bits and pieces from the article have been revealed, with Christian Bale commenting on the pressures of trying to match what has come previously. “I can tell you the truth because I’m done with it: I felt immense pressure. And I think it’s a good pressure, because you owe it to the films — and the people’s expectations — to make great work.”

They also asked Nolan about Bane and whether or not he will be understood, since the prologue was released there has been a bit of a fuss made about Bane’s voice. I personally think that people are over reacting to the issue, but that’s what happens these days. “Bane is very complex and very interesting and when people see the finished film people will be very entertained by him.”

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Josh Stewart, Matthew Modine and Juno Temple. We shall get to see the film on on July 20, with midnight sessions already selling out!
