New Poltergeist DVD

If you’re like me, then you’ve held out to fork over the dough for the weak-ass POLTERGEIST DVD, which is about as bare bones as Lindsay Lohan on a good day. Classics on these cheap attempts to score our money are just waiting to be released in some sort of ass kickin’ special edition- so we can buy it again. The ol’ double dip, as they say. Well if you waited, then it’s time to rejoice: POLTERGEIST is getting the double disc special edition treatment very soon!


The Digital Bits claims the new edition will boast lots of goodies, and is expected to hit shelves sometime next year. So yeah, hella days away, but since we’ve waited this long… a little bit longer isn’t going to kill us.


And it’s about time, too. POLTERGEIST is definately one of the best horror movies ever made- at least in my book. That shit scared the bejesus out of me when I was a kid… and it still scares the crap outta me today! Tobe Hooper was at the top of his game then… sad to see where he’s at these days. Hopefully it gets the same rockin’ treatment that other flicks like THE FLY recently recieved. Stay tuned as we hear more about what to expect from this highly anticipated DVD!
