New poster for Hitchcock is, well, very Hitchcockian

The latest poster for Sacha Gervasi's HITCHCOCK certainly fits. Taking its cue from PSYCHO, the one-sheet gives us yet another nice look at Anthony Hopkins as the infamous director, Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, Jessica Biel as Vera Miles and Helen Mirren as Hitch's wife, Alma. (With tiny peeks at Danny Huston, Toni Collette and James D'Arcy.) It's a work of beauty, wouldn't you say? Compare it to the teaser poster released a few weeks ago and let us know which one you prefer...

The poster premiered over at Entertainment Weekly, and the magazine nipped a few quotes from Gervasi about the Master of Suspense: “Hitchcock’s so enigmatic in one sense... Someone who portrays zero emotion. We didn’t really know emotionally that much about Hitchcock, and suddenly you have this whole world that opens up when Anthony Hopkins plays the role. It’s extraordinary. And he really enjoyed tiptoeing up to people who had just arrived on the set and going, ‘Good evening.’ Making people jump. I think he really found the role quite delicious.”

Opening on November 23rd, HITCHCOCK is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville. The film takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie Psycho.
