New poster for Jennifer Lynch's NC-17 thriller Chained makes a mess in the backseat

I think at this point it's safe to say Jennifer Lynch isn't the luckiest filmmaker under the sun. First it's that whole HISSS debacle and then her next movie CHAINED gets slapped with an NC-17 rating for somewhat dubious reasons. Hopefully the new one-sheet for the flick won't scar your psyche too badly - we wouldn't want the MPAA to feel obliged to step in. Check out the poster below, while you can.

The film is the story of a serial killer who kidnaps a 9-year-old boy. Now a teenager, the boy learns the only way to survive is by following in the killer’s footsteps. He must make his move to escape before he becomes like the monster that now considers himself his father.

CHAINED stars Vincent D'Onofrio, Gina Phillips, Jake Webber, Eamon Farren and Julia Ormond (below). The movie still doesn't have a release date.

re spilled blood : not a genre movie but I do remember Kevin Bacon movie Where the Truth Lies getting an NC-17 due to too many "thrusts" from Bacon in a sex scene.
