New trailer pops up for Filipino horror flick Darkest Night

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Last year was the last time we got a look at the Filipino found-footage genre romp DARKEST NIGHT. Now nearly a year is a long time to wait for new goods, no? Of course it is! Good things come to those who wait, right? I’ll let you decide.

You see the brand new trailer for Noel Tan’s DARKEST NIGHT just popped up on these here interwebs and we’ve got that shite for you up in our videos section! In case you’re feeling lazy I’ve also tossed it down below. You’re welcome.

DARKEST NIGHT has its roots in horror styles and moods from many eastern and western traditions. Filmed in a “found video and documentary” style, ”Darkest Night” depicts a family holiday reunion at an isolated home in the Sagada Mountains. The family’s celebration is shattered by bizarre, supernatural and tragic terrors no one can explain. This film is a psychological horror story with intense family drama, suspense, action and shock.

So what do you guys think? Worth the wait? DARKEST NIGHT sports a cast of unknowns that include DJ Perry, Anne Gauthier and Issa Litton (below).

Plans are for DARKEST NIGHT to drop later this year here in North America courtesy of Gothic Productions International. As soon as we hear rumblings of a date we’ll pass that along to all of you.
