The Punisher Jon Bernthal

Netflix has been toying with fans of their Marvel shows and of the Marvel character The Punisher in particular. Although they were releasing promotional materials like posters and trailers for the upcoming The Punisher series, they wouldn't reveal when the show would be arriving on their streaming service. We knew it would be available for viewing by the end of 2017, but the month and day were always obscured.

That veil of secrecy has been pulled away now. Netflix has put out a new trailer for The Punisher that plainly shows the release date on the screen… and the date is less than a month away.

Starring Jon Bernthal as the title character, The Punisher has the following synopsis:

After exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children, Frank Castle uncovers a conspiracy that runs far deeper than New York’s criminal underworld. Now known throughout the city as The Punisher, he must discover the truth about injustices that affect more than his family alone.

Co-starring with Bernthal are Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Deborah Ann Woll, Ben Barnes, Amber Rose Revah, Michael Nathanson, Jaime Ray Newman, Jason R Moore, Daniel Webber, and Paul Schulze.

Watch the new trailer below and find out when you'll be able to see The Punisher on Netflix.

Or if you don't want to watch any trailers before you watch the show and need a SPOILER, here you go. The release date for The Punisher is November 17.
