Here’s some really comforting news…
The principals behind 2011 horror hit INSIDIOUS – namely director James Wan, writer/actor Leigh Whannell and primary leads Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne – have all wisely decided to return for INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2. Makes sense given the title though I suppose!
Also planning returns are Ty Simpkins and the great Lin Shaye, as is Jason Blum in a producorial role. Plot details are being shrouded, no surprise there, but the flick is slated to bow in the U.S. on Aug. 30, 2013 via FilmDistrict.
In case you shamefully missed one of the better horror joints to come about in some years, the original centers on a family looks to prevent evil spirits from trapping their comatose child in a realm called The Further.
