When I first wrote about writer/director Erik Peter Carlson's WOLF MOTHER several months ago, I knew that it looked to be a very cool noir crime thriller, but I had no idea it was destined to become such a monumental film for the JoBlo network.

Today, I am proud to share the news that JoBlo will be involved with the distribution of WOLF MOTHER – on Thursday, November 3rd, the film will be debuting on our JoBlo Movie Network YouTube channel, where it will be exclusively available for rental for a period of ten days.

For all the details on this exciting turn of events, look over the official press release:

JOBLO NABS WORLDWIDE YOUTUBE EXCLUSIVE OF ERIK PETER CARLSON’S HIGHLY ANTICIPATED THRILLER “WOLF MOTHER”

Studio City, Calif., October 6, 2016 —  Yet another clear indication that the independent film distribution model is evolving, the JoBlo Media empire, known in Hollywood as the “go to” for industry news, reviews and trailers, will release Erik Peter Carlson’s thriller, “Wolf Mother”, for a ten day exclusive YouTube rental this November. With a channel of 1.4 million subscribers and 1.6 billion views, the untraditional release of “Wolf Mother” will surely get unprecedented global attention and evoke shivers down the spine of the industry.

“We believe this distribution model could become another possible venue for independent filmmakers to showcase their films directly to fans, which is what JoBlo.com is all about. We considered this opportunity a no-brainer”, says JoBlo Media, Inc. CEO and Founder, Berge Garabedian.

The multi genre film, which is written and directed by Erik Peter Carlson (“Transatlantic Coffee”, “The Toy Soldiers”) stars Najarra Townsend (“Contracted”), New York stage actor, Kevin Pinassi, and star of David Lynch’s “Twin Peaks” revival, Tom Sizemore (“Heat”, “Saving Private Ryan”).

“In an attempt to rectify their criminal past, a once successful Hollywood starlet, turn prostitute, and a misogynistic thief, set out together to solve a high profile child abduction case in San Francisco.”

“The traditional indie model which has been obsolete for years, simply isn’t enough anymore. With our release on JoBlo's YouTube Channel, Wolf Mother will be in the hands of millions of people at once around the globe. Something you could never achieve with traditional indie distribution”, says Carlson.

Carlson’s last film, “The Toy Soldiers”, which was released in 2014 in AMC Theaters, was an indie sensation. His style is surely controversially prominent in the “Wolf Mother” red band trailer, which exudes atmosphere and offers up a scenario that raises far more questions than it could ever hope to answer.

“In this political climate, it will surely provoke not only the themes of good and evil but also misogyny. The zeitgeist is alive and well with this film. It will be challenging for most, but that’s always a good thing”, explains the writer/director.

On Thursday, November 3rd through the 13th, “Wolf Mother” will launch on JoBlo's Movie Network YouTube Channel for $6.99, prior to its theatrical and digital release in early 2017.

If you can’t wait for the at home YouTube premiere, you can pick-up some cool t-shirts  designed by Carlson himself while taking a look at the newly released red band trailer to whet your appetite. You’re forewarned, it’s not for the faint of heart.
