Last Updated on July 22, 2021

We don’t cover too many video games around these parts, but some you just have to make an exception for. Case in point: Mad Max, the upcoming video game focusing on everyone’s favorite post-apocalyptic road warrior. The game comes out in just a few weeks, and today we’ve got a brand new TV spot for it and goddamn this looks amazing!

Here are some story and game details:

Become the legendary lone warrior as you craft and upgrade his equipment and weapons in order to survive in a brutal post-apocalyptic world. Fight with savage moves and combos to brutalize the deranged bandits of the Wasteland. Engage in dynamic, physics-based vehicular combat, taking down enemy vehicles with a slew of deadly weapons and customizable parts. Choose from different car bodies and construct the ultimate war vehicle with dozens of upgrade combinations. Explore an immense post-apocalyptic open world full of unique missions and side quests.

Alone in the Wasteland with stolen gas for your Interceptor, it’s up to you to fend for yourself and fight off the deadly marauders who will do anything to obtain precious scrap and resources. Almost out of gas, but not completely out of luck, your Interceptor is your only hope for survival as Scrotus’ gang of marauders close in. Do you fight or flee? The decision could mean the difference between life and death. The will to stay alive is your deadliest weapon. Overpowered by blood thirsty marauders, you are left for dead and stranded without your car. With new dangers around every turn, it is going to take everything and anything you have to survive.

Mad Max will hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 1st, which just so happens to be when MAD MAX: FURY ROAD hits Blu-ray! Learn more about the game HERE.
