Plot details for Henry Rollins’ He Never Died

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

It was only last week when we reported on Henry Rollins' upcoming horror-thriller HE NEVER DIED, and while at the time details were slim, we knew that Rollins' character was being described as a man who has prolonged life by buying stolen blood, until his criminal past come back to haunt him. It wasn't much to go on, but it was certainly enough to grab our interest. Today, however, additional details have come to light on just what this little flick will be about, and it sounds pretty damn cool. See what you think:

An exceptionally prolonged life brings depression and detachment. Jack buys stolen blood from a hospital intern, plays bingo, sleeps fourteen hours a day, watches television for six hours a day, and lives alone.  This is his life – shelled away from social interactions. A fuse is lit when Jack's past comes back to rattle him. Jack must now sober up, trying to eat as few people as possible in this violent tale of responsibility and self-worth.

I love how the synopsis quietly slips in the fact that Rollins' character eats people—I'm totally cool with that! Directed by Jason Krawczyk, HE NEVER DIED sees Rollins star alongside Steve Ogg—we'll hit you folks with more on this one once we get it.
