Original Creepshow comic gets a reprinting on May 9th

02.17.2017by: Mike Sprague

This is great news for me. As you might know, I reported on the lost CREEPSHOW 2 story, Pinfall, getting its comic adaptation a few weeks ago. And needless to say I am a huge CREEPSHOW fan. I just peeped the making-of doc JUST DESSERTS too. Good times.

As you can imagine, I am over-joyed to hear the original CREEPSHOW comic, which was released (as a very limited edition) back when the original movie open in 1982, is getting a reprinting!

Very, very cool!

I know I will be buying up a copy once it hits. Will you? If you find yourself still not sold on the idea, here are some details to get the CREEPSHOW love flowing back into your veins.

Here's the rundown via the comic's Amazon site:

The graphic novel adaptation of the classic horror anthology film written by Stephen King, with art by Bernie Wrightson!

Now back in print: the graphic novel adaptation of Stephen King’s Creepshow, based on the 1982 horror anthology and cult classic film directed by George Romero (Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead)—and featuring stunning illustrations by the legendary Bernie Wrightson and cover art by the acclaimed Jack Kamen! A harrowing and darkly humorous tribute to the controversial and influential horror comics of the 1950s, Creepshow presents five sinister stories from the #1 New York Times bestselling author—“Father’s Day,” “The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill,” “Something to Tide You Over,” “The Crate,” and “They’re Creeping Up on You”…unforgettable tales of terror to haunt your days and nights!

The new edition hits on May 9th. You can pre-order your copy HERE!
