Since I've had this bad boy sitting in my "not available" Netflix queue for almost two years now, I'm quite delighted to bring you the news that Paolo Cavara's lost giallo classic PLOT OF FEAR is finally coming to DVD this May. Props to RaroVideo for making this shite happen!
According to an official presser, PLOT OF FEAR arrives on DVD May 8th. That's just two weeks from today. Strangely, Amazon has the title listed for a May 22nd release. Either way, we have less than a month for PLOT OF FEAR to finally disc.
Told through ingenious flashbacks, PLOT OF FEAR tells the story of a group of wealthy men and women who get murdered one by one at a decadent weekend party. In his attempt to find a connection between the victims Inspector Lomenzo (Michele Placido) encounters a mysterious fashion model (Corninne Clery) who becomes his informant. Clery reveals that at this the drugged-out sex party one of the young girls was “accidently” killed during a gruesome practical joke. However, it seems that someone at this party is killing the others, but who and why?
