Do you remember GHOST TEAM ONE? Earlier this year we shared the red-band trailer for this fun-looking horror comedy which was being marketed as 'HAROLD & KUMAR meets PARANORMAL ACTIVITY', and today we have news, via The Hollywood Reporter, that the worldwide rights to the Ben Peyser and Scott Rutherford-helmed flick has just been picked up by Paramount Home Entertainment.
The movie centers on...
two roommate who fall for a girl who believes their home is haunted by a vengeful madam. The duo set out to make a documentary, uncovering not only a decades-ago murder but also a ghost that is into them.
GHOST TEAM ONE stars Carlos Santos (host of MTV Tr3s’ Mi TRL), J.R. Villarreal (Akeelah and the Bee), Tony Cavalero (Son of a Pitch) and Fernanda Romero (RPM Miami). It was produced by Flying Monkeys Entertainment and Foresight Entertainment and premiered at this year’s Slamdance Film Festival. Hernany Perla produced the movie.
The Hollywood Reporter is stating that a theatrical release for the film has not been ruled out.
We'll keep you posted on news as to when you can finally check this one out for yourself.
