Paranormal Activity 3 poster is here; discover how the activity began!

Sep. 20, 2011by: Eric Walkuski

The PARANORMAL ACTIVITY movies have not exactly had scintillating posters, on this we can probably agree. Simply featuring a single image from the films, I suppose they do what they need to do, and nothing more. The one-sheet for the third film has just come out and, no surprise, it's giving us another still from the video footage. Check it out below. (You'll notice the unwelcome visitor in the room...)

Directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, and written by Christopher Landon, PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3 goes back in the past to examine the troubled childhoods of PA1 and 2 characters Katie and Kristi (Kate Featherston and Sprague Graydon, respectively.) No further plot details are available.

You can check out the official site for PA3 right HERE.

Ok....who had video camera's in their rooms with a feed in 1988? The parents must be rich to have a set up like they need to make this film. That right there already takes me out of the film. I'll pass.

Its Okay

Nothing special but I don't need a poster to blow me away to go check out a film. I really dug the first one ... better that I first saw it in a pitch black house with my lady and two friends AND for years our friends have been telling us how they think their house is haunted. I don't even really believe in that stuff but it upped the creepy factor of the film.

The 2nd was ... eh until the end but even then it was just more of the same of what we saw in the first.

I'll still check out

I'll still check out the 3rd because A) I just enjoy horror. B) It'll come out around Halloween and C) They're harmless flicks that entertain me for a little bit and then fade from memory. Hey, nothing wrong with that!

wow great poster

Not...These movies are just lazy and uninspired that's why it's "hip" to hate on them..what I don't get is why people enjoy them so much..oh they have no taste that's right.

What I don\'t get is why people like you get offended and have to be insulting because others like something you don\'t. It\'s called diversity. Deal with it.

Actually think it's the most effective poster of the 3 flicks so far and still retains the traditional minimalism.

It's simple just like the other two posters. I know it's hip to hate on these movies, but I love them and I'll be watching this one as well. It has an interesting story behind it and I'm sure it will have some decent scares as well.

Agreed! I enjoy these movies as well and also don't get the hate.
