Paul Giamatti, Toby Jones, & Boyd Holbrook join Luke Scott’s Morgan

Last month we learned that FANTASTIC FOUR's Kate Mara and THE WITCH's Anya Taylor-Joy had signed on to star in the sci-fi thriller MORGAN, which is being directed by Luke Scott, son of legendary filmmaker Ridley Scott. Now THR is reporting that Paul Giamatti (JOHN DIES AT THE END) and Toby Jones (BERBERIAN SOUND STUDIO, "Wayward Pines") have signed on to the project, and GONE GIRL's Boyd Holbrook is in negotiations to join the cast.

The acclaimed script by Seth Owen wound up on the 2014 Black List, the annual list of best unproduced screenplays. The story concerns…

…a corporate risk-management consultant who is summoned to a remote research lab to determine whether or not to terminate an at-risk artificial being.

Giamatti will play a psychologist who has trouble relating to people while Jones will play the chief scientist in charge of the facility. Holbrook is a nutritionist at the facility.

Ridley Scott will produce the film for his son, who makes his directorial debut on this flick. Luke's siblings Jordan and Jake have directed features of their own, which truly makes this a family business.
