Pics to Boogey 2

Sometimes a sequel is made to a really bad movie, and all you can do is wonder why? They’re currently doing it twice over with two PULSE sequels in the works (filming back to back, no less!), and they’re doing it with 2005’s lackluster borefest BOOGEYMAN. Today STYD scored a few new images from BOOGEYMAN 2, and while they’re not bad, they do scream echoes of another franchise.

Maybe it’s because star Tobin Bell is featured in a few of the new pics, but I keep thinking this is just another SAW sequel, just with a smaller budget. To see what I mean, check out the new images by clicking HERE.

Ok, so maybe not SAW entirely, but it sure doesn’t feel like a BOOGEYMAN sequel either. But these are the first photos to be seen, so what can we really expect, right? Plus, it’s for a straight to DVD feature, so the goal here obviously wasn’t fine cinematic filmmaking. In the end, all you can see is that they are what they are.. and leave it at that.
