Poster for Isaac Cravit’s camping thriller Solo

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Dark forests. Summer camp. Camp counselors in danger. It’s the perfect recipe for a slasher film, ala FRIDAY THE 13th, but with no hockey mask wearing madman in sight we’ll have to wait and see what writer/director Isaac Cravit has in store for us with his upcoming horror-thriller SOLO. Today we have a look at the promotional poster for this ‘danger in the woods’ flick, which stars Annie Clark (from “Degrassi: The Next Generation). Check out the synopsis and poster below.

Attempting to move past a family tragedy the summer previous, 17-year-old Gillian takes a job as a counselor at a remote summer camp. As part of her initiation, she must spend two nights by herself on the camp’s island, an intimidating collision of rock and wilderness carved out of the lake, supposedly haunted by the ghost of a camper who disappeared suspiciously decades before. When Gilllian’s “solo” is interrupted by a local man responding to a distress call, what was meant to be a peaceful time alone in nature devolves into something disturbingly different. As her paranoia mounts, a horrifying secret is uprooted and Gillian finds herself in desperate fight to survive.

Hopefully this little flick will deliver on some genuine scares that will have us thinking twice about planning that next camping expedition.

SOLO also stars Daniel Kash, Richard Clarkin, Steve Love, Alyssa Capriotti, Sonia LaPlante and Sarah Emes. Word is that we’ll be seeing a trailer for this one real soon so keep checking back.
