Posters & BTS pics from Turbo Kid directors' must-see Summer of 84

I've been hearing bits and pieces of news here and there about SUMMER OF '84, but truthfully didn't pay it too much notice. No reason, really. Just not enough info to go off of. That said, after peeping these new posters and BTS stills the film has shot to the (near) top of my must-see list.

For those who might not know, SUMMER OF '84 is the upcoming new movie from the directing team behind the neo-classic TURBO KID. And if that flick was an indication of what we can expect from SUMMER OF '84 then I think we're in for a true new genre treat once the film hits.

Think a more slasher-horror based STRANGER THINGS. I'm down as hell.

You can check out the poster and behind the scenes stills below and then make sure to hit us up on social media and let us know what you think of SUMMER OF '84 on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

SUMMER OF '84 synopsis:

SUMMER OF '84 is directed by François Simard, Anouk Whissell and Yoann-Karl Whissell (RKSS) from a script by Matt Leslie and Stephen J. Smith. The film stars Graham Verchere, Rich Sommer, Tiera Skovbye, Judah Lewis, Caleb Emery, and Cory Gruter-Andrew.

We'll let you know when we hear more of SUMMER OF '84!

Extra Tidbit: Getting Fright Night/People Under the Stairs vibes from that one poster. Fear Street from the other. Both need to be one my wall asap!
