The American Film Market is going hard and fast right now, which means about a million movies are in the process of being announced. (An exaggeration, but a slight one.) Add to that the fact that we'll be seeing a ton of promo posters rise out of the fray. Not all of them will be very interesting, but a handful are worth our time, so we'll keep a handle on the important ones.
Here's one such flick of interest: THE WOMAN IN BLACK: ANGEL OF DEATH. We recently learned that Tom Harper will be helming the sequel, and it would seem Hammer Films is wasting no time putting the word out there that the film is currently in pre-production.
No cast has been announced yet.
Shooting in the spring, ANGEL OF DEATH goes like this: Seized by the government and converted into a military mental hospital during World War II, the sudden arrival of disturbed children to Eel Marsh Harsh has awoken its darkest inhabitant. Eve, a beautiful young nurse, is sent to the house to care for the patients but soon realizes she must save them from more than their own demons. Despite Eve’s efforts to stop her, one by one they fall victim to the Woman in Black.
