Redband Legion Trailer!

Scott Stewart’s LEGION has kept a low profile all throughout production. It recently came out of its cage to visit Comic Con and finally scored some attention. Well today the first trailer for the flick hit the net and it just so happens to be of the redband variety. Let’s just say LEGION just snuck up and b*tch-slapped the hell out of us!

Seriously though… as I was watching this trailer I was really hooked in and found my smirk growing more and more. Creepy ice cream man, Dennis Quaid with a shotgun and a messy hairdo, an old lady biting at a guy’s neck and talking about fetuses burning… and that’s just the start of the trailer! The trailer runs a very respectable 5 minutes and change and should definitely have you pumped for LEGION. After a terrifying biblical apocalypse descends upon the world, a group of strangers stranded in a remote truck stop diner in the Southwest unwittingly become humanity’s last line of defense when they discover the diner’s young waitress is pregnant with the messiah. So we’ve got a few random people and a badass angel versus a sh*tload of twisted angels… I’m down! Did I mention there’s automatic weapons too? Well there is… lots of them!

LEGION stars Dennis Quaid, Paul Bettany, Kevin Durand, Doug Jones, Kate Walsh (below), Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, Adrianne Palicki, Willa Holland, Charles S. Dutton, Jon Tenney and Josh Stamberg. Unfortunately this one isn’t hitting theaters until January 22, 2010 so we’ve got a ways to go.
