HANGMAN, a psychological thriller told from the perspective of a home-intruding sicko, first premiered to the world last year at the SXSW festival. We got a look at it back in May and found it to be “unique” and “effective,” in the words of my colleague Jimmy O, but it has been something of a wait for the rest of the globe to take a look at it. Today, we learn the thriller will be released on Blu-ray/DVD February 9th.
Returning from vacation, the Miller family find their home has been broken into. After cleaning up the mess they continue with their lives, shaking off the feeling of being violated. Little do they know the real nightmare has just begun.
The film stars Jeremy Sisto, Amy Smart and Kate Ashfield, and comes from director Adam Mason, who has brought us such dark ditties as PIG and JUNKIE. Pre-order HANGMAN right HERE.
