Resident Evil: The Final Chapter has finally begun shooting with a full cast

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER has begun principal photography in South Africa with its full cast in place. Joining the returning cast members Milla Jovovich (as Alice), Ali Larter (as Claire Redfield), Iain Glen (as Dr. Alexander Isaacs), and Shawn Roberts (as Albert Weske) are the sleek as hell Australian Ruby Rose (Orange is the New Black) as Abigail, Eoin Macken (The Night Shift) as Doc, William Levy (proud member of People en Español’s 50 Most Beautiful) as Christian, Fraser James (Law & Order: UK) as Michael, and Rola (Japanese model and TV personality) as Cobalt.

With an interesting and fresh cast, THE FINAL CHAPTER might turn out to be one to watch out for. If it does, we all know that the word "Final" is about as dubious as a brunch cooked by Hannibal Lecter.

New plot details have also been dropped! Check it:

Picking up immediately after the events in RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION, humanity is on its last legs after Alice is betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.

In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER opens January 17, 2017.
