Rinko Kikuchi throws down with Charlie Hunnam in this second Pacific Rim clip

Earlier we brought you the first clip from Guillermo del Toro's PACIFIC RIM, a look at an intense scene between Charlie Hunnam's Raleigh Becket and Idris Elba's Stacker Pentecost that proved that Elba is not one to be messed with. Now the folks over at MTV have gotten their hands on another new clip, this one featuring Rinko Kikuchi's Mako Mori proving herself in a stickfighting contest against Hunnam, and she's no lightweight, folks! When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Robert Kazinsky, Ron Perlman, Max Martini, Clifton Collins, Jr., Burn Gorman, Larry Joe Campbell, Diego Klattenhoff and Brad William Henke all star in PACIFIC RIM, which will arrive in theaters July 12.
