Sad news to share with you as we have learned that Kenneth Patrick "Ken" Weatherwax, who is best known as Pugsley Addam's from the classic 60's television series "The Addam's Family", passed away from an apparent heart attack Sunday at his home in Southern California.

Besides acting on "The Addams Family", which was based on the merrily macabre New Yorker cartoons by Charles Addams and ran on ABC for two seasons beginning in 1964, Weatherwax also served in the Army and worked for Universal Studios as a grip. Weatherwax also voiced Pugsley in the animated “The Addams Family” cartoon in 1973 and then reprised the role as Pugsley Sr. in the TV-movie “Halloween with the New Addams Family.”

Like many of our readers I grew up on reruns of "The Addam's Family" and always enjoyed Pugsley's mischievous and slightly deviant antics, so it's truly sad to hear of Weatherwax's passing. We here at Arrow in the Head send our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and fans.
