After running a successful crowdfunding campaign to raise the dough for his next film, 31, rock god and filmmaker Rob Zombie has launched a second wave of crowdfunding to get his latest foray into horror across the finish line. Further, Zombie has shared on his Fanbacked page that filming on 31 is set to begin next month!

The film tells the story of…

…five random people kidnapped on the five days leading up to Halloween and held hostage in a place called Murder World. While trapped inside this man-made Hell they must fight to survive playing the most violent game known to man… a game called 31.

31 has no rules. 31 has no boundaries. It is ever so simple. Do whatever you can do to kill your opponent before they kill you. Keep this up for 12 hours and freedom is yours.

Who are the opponents? Well… a group of vile, filthy, blood-thirsty clowns known as THE HEADS. They come in all shapes and sizes and each grows nastier than the last.

We've been keeping you up-to-date on 31 over the past few months, bringing you concept art, news, and even an EXCLUSIVE interview with Zombie himself, so we're pretty stoked to hear that the film is prepping to head in front of the cameras in March.

If you're interested in contributing to Zombie's 31, you can do so HERE. Personally, I can't wait to see what kind of wickedness Zombie has cooked up for this one.
