Not stoked for the ROBOCOP remake? Then obviously you'll want to avoid this article. But those of you who have faith that Jose Padilha has potentially done the film justice might be curious to check out these new videos. We've got a featurette that focuses on the cast and characters of the film, with soundbites from all the major players, and two TV spots, one from the U.S., the other from overseas. Each video contains some new footage from the flick, so click away!

The year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Overseas, their drones have been used by the military for years -- and it's meant billions for OmniCorp's bottom line. Now OmniCorp wants to bring their controversial technology to the home front, and they see a golden opportunity to do it. When Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) -- a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit -- is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer. OmniCorp envisions a RoboCop in every city and even more billions for their shareholders, but they never counted on one thing: there is still a man inside the machine pursuing justice.

ROBOCOP stars Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Jay Baruchel, Jennifer Ehle, Marianne Jean-Baptiste. It opens on February 12th.

I'm looking forward to it.

I'm sick of the constant whining from people about it. Don't see it then, and don't troll threads for weeks declaring that you wont see it. No one cares. And after it comes out, don't attack those who did like it, and troll with people who didn't like it as some twisted validation. Move on...

I saw this today (it was already released in my country, and I had a free ticket). The action scenes are very underwhelming, but the film does some smart things and shows interesting aspects about Robocop in his beta-stage. And Sam Jackson is having the time of his life. He almost makes the film decent. It's a rental.
