Ryuhei Kitamura’s No One Lives will release in May

Anchor Bay Films has just announced that their theatrical release for NO ONE LIVES will hit limited theaters on May 10th. This will mark Ryuhei Kitamura’s second American film after adapting Clive Barker’s MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN.

I really dug Kitamura’s MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN, it was a solid adaptation and one hell of a horror flick that didn’t shy away from drenching the audience in blood — I also saw it in a run down theater that looked like it was being run by the mutants from THE HILLS HAVE EYES… so there’s that.

A ruthless criminal gang takes a young couple hostage and goes to ground in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. When the captive girl is killed, the tables are unexpectedly turned. The gang finds themselves outsmarted by an urbane and seasoned killer determined to ensure that no one lives.

The film stars Luke Evans, Lee Tergesen, Adelaide Clemens, Laura Ramsey, Lindsey Shaw, America Olivo, Beau Knapp, Derek Magyar, and Brodus Clay.
