Well, speak of the devil. We just shared with you the new music video from Rob Zombie's album when news comes out that his crowdfunded horror flick 31 has been picked up by Saban Films! The company acquired the North American distribution rights, slating it for limited theatrical release on September 16, 2016.

Says Saban president Bill Bromley:

31 is a treat not just to horror fans, but fans of true auteur filmmaking. The film is executed in true stylistic Zombie fashion. Rob is an unrivaled talent, and we are thrilled to bring his bold new film to audiences across the continent.

Since its Sundance premiere, fans have been wondering when they'll finally get a chance to experience Zombie's newest assault on the nerves, and now thankfully the question has been finally answered. And just in time for Halloween!

Once there, they have 12 hours to survive a terrifying game called 31 in which “The Heads” – murderous maniacs dressed as clowns – are released to hunt them down and kill them.

The cast includes Malcolm McDowell, Sheri Moon Zombie, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Pancho Moler, Lew Temple, Richard Brake, Meg Foster, Judy Geeson, Jane Carr, Ginger Lynn, Daniel Roebuck, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Tracy Walter, E.G. Daily, Torsten Voges, David Ury, Bari Suzuki, Devin Sidell, and Kevin Jackson.
